Watch a replay of the ‘Economic evaluation alongside cluster trial’ webinar that was held on 23 August 2022, as part of our ACTA Health Economist Special Interest Group (HEAT) activities.
This webinar included a presentation from Dr Manuel Gomes, an Associate Professor of Health Economics at the Department of Applied Research, University College London. During the webinar, there were discussions about the importance of accounting for clustering in cost-effectiveness analyses (CEA) that use cluster randomised trials (CRTs).
Dr Gomes provided insights on the use of alternative statistical methods for CEA that use CRTs across a wide range of circumstances, including settings with systematic imbalances in baseline covariates and missing data.
