ACTA’s Innovative Outcome Data reference group is hosting a virtual workshop across two half-days for key stakeholders to address barriers to uptake of registry randomised trials.
This event will provide a forum for trialists, registry scientists, statisticians, healthcare managers, healthcare policymakers and consumers to exchange experiences, best practices and ideas related to current and emerging issues associated with registry randomised trials.
Day 1: Tuesday 19 May, 11:30am – 2:00pm AEST
Session 1: Trial designs for registry-based trials presented by Prof Andrew Forbes & Dr Patty Chondros
Session 2: Validation of end-points for trials from registry data presented by Prof Chris Reid & Prof Stephen McDonald
Day 2: Wednesday 20 May, 10:30am – 12:30pm AEST
Session 1: Electronic data capture presented by Dr Charmaine Tam & Ms Jane Shrapnel
Session 2: Establishing registries presented by Dr Jen Reilly
