ACTA Reference Group: Innovative Outcome Data is holding a workshop on Key Methodological Issues in Registry Randomised Trials in Sydney on Thursday 19 May.

This workshop will be an all-day event covering the following topics:

• validation of end-points for trials from registry data
• trial designs for registry-based trials
• establishing registries
• electronic data capture

This event will provide a forum for trialists, registry scientists, statisticians, healthcare managers, healthcare policymakers, and consumers to exchange experiences, best practices and ideas related to current and emerging issues associated with registry randomised trials.
