A day of workshops provided a forum for delegates to collaborate with national and international subject matter experts on a range of topics from embedding trials to writing successful grant applications.

The intimate nature of a 30+ workshop allowed delegates to discuss their ideas directly with their peers while receiving expert advice on best practice in their discipline.

Feedback from the workshops was overwhelmingly positive, with one delegate’s response:

“Stuart Spencer was the best speaker I’ve ever seen, he was so inspiring. I’ve seen his name a lot in The Lancet, so I was having a bit of a fan moment listening to him talk about his publication and how to successfully get published.”
