Nominations extended: ACTA Trial of the Year 2020

Although the Clinical Trials 2020: National Tribute and Award Ceremony event has been postponed until later in the year, we are keeping nominations open and have extended the closing date to 20 May.

We appreciate that many of our Members are undertaking vital work in the health system to support the increased demand during the pandemic, ensure the continuity of existing trials, and work in clinical trials research related to the treatment of COVID-19 respiratory illnesses and vaccine treatment. For this reason and so we have decided to extend the deadline for nominations to 5pm on Wednesday 20 May 2020, on International Clinical Trials Day.

We will make further announcements about a new date for the Ceremony, and plans to mark International Clinical Trials Day.

Every year we highlight the best in Australian clinical trials at our national award ceremony, and this year will be no exception. We can’t wait to see the amazing nominees and celebrate the achievements of the clinical community in Australia.

The award categories with extended nomination periods are as follows:

  • ACTA Trial of the Year
  • ACTA STInG Award for Excellence in Trial Statistics
  • ACTA Consumer Involvement Award

Nominations now close on Wednesday 20 May 2020 at 5pm.
