The HCF Research Foundation was established to drive research, enquiry and innovation in the delivery of healthcare for the benefit of all Australians.

The HCF Research Foundation, they continue to drive positive change via the reduction of low-value care procedures, ensuring Australians get the right treatment, at the right time, in the right setting.

HCF's 11th annual call for research projects will deliver funding to the research community from 1 March 2022.

Applications are invited for projects that contributes to one of the following areas:

• Improving the transition from hospital to community care for better alignment, communication, metrics and patient health outcomes
• Demonstrating safe, effective and cost-effective alternatives to hospital care
• Educating and engaging patients in chronic disease and associated health-seeking behaviour.
  

Applications will be assessed on scientific merit and their ability to drive meaningful change to health services.
HCF welcome applications that demonstrate strong potential and a considered approach for translation of research outcomes into practice.

The closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 27 August 2021 (AEST).
