Clinical trial awareness and access amongst culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) populations: environmental scan

Topics:Consumer Engagement

ACTA has created an environmental scan of national and international initiatives seeking to increase participation in clinical trials by people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.

The ACTA consumer engagement in clinical trials reference group is working with a diverse range of stakeholders to further understand how we can work together as a sector to improve clinical trial awareness, involvement, and access strategies for people from different ethnic populations in Australia.

This work will support the upcoming National Clinical Trial Diversity Workshop being conducted by the reference group in June 2020. We look forward to sharing the outcomes of this event in the coming months.
