In 2019 we’ll be continuing to walk our grow, strengthen and support the investigator-led clinical trials sector talk with the launch of ACTA Summer School in February and Weekly Webinars with ACTA beginning in March.
ACTA Summer School
With the change to those NHMRC grant deadlines, get the most out of your “freed-up February” by joining your clinician-researcher peers and eminent experts at ACTA Summer School 2019. Take advantage of discounts for ACTA members and early bird pricing – and book really early because some events have strictly limited capacity and will fill-up fast.
Prospective Summer Schoolers can choose from the following one and two-day workshops: Registry-randomised Trials Colloquium, Innovative Trial Design Seminar, and the Innovative Trial Design Clinic; and attend one of three two-day Adaptive clinical trial designs: theory and hands-on skills development in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.
If you are already convinced, the links above will take you directly to the Eventbrite booking pages for individual workshops. Looking for more detailed information about the workshops’ context and content? You'll find it here.
Weekly Webinars with ACTA
Weekly Webinars with ACTA is our new series of online interactive webinars including your opportunity to engage with field-leading presenters. We’ll be discussing Studies Within a Trial (SWATs), hosting a dedicated four-part series exploring Data Linkage for Clinical Trialists, and staging a Novel Trial Designs Hackathon.
The Webinars kick off in March 2019. Watch your inbox for further details and registration links – and if you are reading this forwarded from a colleague, get yourself on the ACTA mailing list so you don’t miss out.
We’ll make the presentations available on the ACTA website or YouTube channel afterwards, but do try not to miss these live engagement opportunities.
