STING-Chat - What makes this trial great – discussion with ACTA-STInG Excellence in Trial Statistics 2026 award winner

Topics:STInG

Join Professor Leonid Churilov and Dr Hannah Johns, winners of the 2026 ACTA-STInG Excellence in Trial Statistics Award, as they take us behind the scenes of their award-winning trial.

In this webinar, Prof Churilov and Dr Johns will discuss the trial and the statistical approaches that contributed to its success, sharing insights into what made it stand out to the ACTA-STInG judging panel.

The session will provide an opportunity to hear directly from the statisticians involved in the trial, explore some of the challenges and considerations they faced, and learn more about the role that high-quality statistical design and analysis played in the trial.

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions and explore the approaches discussed in more detail.

This webinar will be of interest to statisticians, researchers, clinical trialists and anyone interested in the design, conduct and analysis of high-quality clinical trials.
