Please join us for an informative and interactive session from our guest speakers from our ATP National Pharmacy Logistics Working Group. This webinar will highlight the key guidelines that have been developed to assist the logistical challenges of transfer of Investigational Medicinal Products and Pathology and Biospecimens between Primary and Satellite sites for clinical trials using teletrial methodology.

Keynote Speakers

Kara Milne
Kara Milne is the Pharmacist for the Queensland Regional Clinical Trial Coordinating Centre (QRCCC), with a focus on Investigational Product and other logistics. Kara provides education and support to regional, rural and remote pharmacy departments across Queensland surrounding clinical trials. She has over 20 years pharmacy and allied health experience in a variety of pharmacy settings from metropolitan hospitals to international development and spent 12 years in very remote Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory. Kara has experience in implementing clinical services in remote areas, facilitating care closer to home and significantly decreasing patient travel and has undertaken research in validated cold chain logistics which resulted in Northern Territory wide changes.

Kathryn Monaghan
Kathryn Monaghan is a laboratory scientist with a career spanning research, molecular genetics, pathology operations, and client services. She began her career as a research assistant at the Norwegian Cancer Research Institute before moving into genetic testing and molecular diagnostics at Pathology Queensland. Kathryn has developed deep expertise in scientific workflows, laboratory quality standards, and service coordination across large health networks. She leads Pathology Queensland’s statewide services in clinical trials, client engagement, and research administration, while contributing to committees on research governance, digital innovation, and privacy.
