Small Patients, Big Data: A Global Pediatric Critical Care Datathon

In partnership with the World Federation of Pediatric Intensive & Critical Care Societies (WFPICCS) and the ANZICS/ACCCN Intensive Care Annual Scientific Meeting, Melbourne will host the inaugural international paediatric datathon.

This landmark event will unite global expertise and provide participants with access to de-identified datasets from Argentina, America, Australia, and Aotearoa New Zealand. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore these rich data sources and investigate research questions they are most passionate about.

Working in multidisciplinary teams of 6-8 participants – including clinicians, researchers, data scientists, and trainees – will collaborate to analyse data, uncover insights, and develop innovative solutions which can contribute to advancing pediatric intensive care research and improving outcomes for critically ill children worldwide.
