Join us for an insightful session with Georgie Haysom as she shares her expertise on Privacy Law. Georgie will be presenting to the CQR SIG, offering deep insights and practical advice on navigating the complexities of privacy regulations.

Georgie Haysom, BSc LLB (Hons) LLM (Bioethics) GAICD GradCertPsyBM, is the General Manager of Research, Education and Advocacy at medical indemnity provider, Avant. She has worked as a health lawyer for over 30 years, assisting, advising and educating doctors on a wide range of medico-legal issues, including representing doctors in medical negligence litigation. For the last 10 years, she has also worked in advocacy and public policy.
Georgie is a member of the South Eastern Sydney Local Health District’s Clinical Ethics Committee and the Privacy and Security Advisory Committee of the Australian Digital Health Agency. She is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, holds a Bachelor of Science (Pharmacology), Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Sydney, and a Master of Laws specialising in bioethics from McGill University.
