The AGITG Annual Scientific Meeting serves not only as a forum for the presentation of state-of-the art overviews on the pathobiological and clinical aspects of GI cancer, but also affords the opportunity to the Australasian scientific community to explore future directions for research and collaboration.
The meeting provides gastro-intestinal cancer clinicians, researchers and allied health specialists with the opportunity to present their research and discuss current challenges and innovations, as well as to hear from international and local leaders on the latest in research and treatments. The meeting also provides an opportunity for involvement of health professionals in the scientific activities of the AGITG.
