Novel trial design in oncology
Presented by Associate Professor Mustafa Khasraw
Drug development in oncology is increasingly more complicated. It is practically impossible to test all new promising therapies and their combinations using the traditional phased I-IV paradigm. Adaptive and innovative trial designs can make development more efficient. Using master protocols and common control and modelling are increasingly used in oncology. The challenges in this arena will be discussed and examples of the approaches to overcome these hurdles will be explained.
