The Australian Medical Research Advisory Board (AMRAB) is consulting on the next Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) Strategy and Priorities.  The Strategy and Priorities will inform how MRFF funding is invested over the next five years.

The Australian Clinical Trials Alliance (ACTA) will be making a submission and we welcome input from members into that submission. We also encourage the entire ACTA Community to make your own, direct, submissions to the consultation to have your say.

Further information about the consultation is available via the Department of Health consultation hub. A public webinar, was held on 28 September 2021 as well as a targeted virtual roundtable discussion. A copy of the webinar presentation can be found on the consultation website.

ACTA also congratulates and welcomes the newly appointed AMRAB, as announced by the Australian Government on 17 September 2021.

ACTA is grateful to continue our work with previous AMRAB members: Professor Ian Frazer AC (Chair), Professor Anne Kelso AO, Professor Douglas Hilton AO, Mr Yasser El-Ansary; and we are pleased to welcome new members: Professor Caroline Homer AO (Deputy Chair), Professor Denise Doolan, Ms Imelda Lynch, Professor Tom Calma AO.
