With a $5 million Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) grant to ACTA in 2017, the Commonwealth Government demonstrated its commitment to health and medical research focused on improving patient outcomes and advancing evidence-based healthcare.
Seed funding was provided by the Victorian Department of Health in 2013, with a second allocation of funding from the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services in 2016. We acknowledge the vision shown by Victoria in helping to establish ACTA as a national resource. In 2015, the Western Australia Department of Health announced seed funding to support ACTA’s development in collaboration with Victoria as a matched contribution.
We gratefully acknowledge the generous support of Monash University’s School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine within the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences for providing in-kind support of ACTA’s national office. We also acknowledge the generous in-kind support from South Australian-based firm Hood Sweeney.
