Nominations are now open for the ACTA 2021 Trial of the Year Awards!
This year, we again plan to mark the biggest date on the clinical trials calendar, International Clinical Trials Day, by recognising and celebrating the outstanding achievements of our Members at the National Tribute and Award Ceremony on Thursday, 20 May 2021.
The ACTA Trial of the Year Award was established in 2016 to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Members, who advance clinical practice and save or improve the lives of patients every year through investigator-driven clinical trials.
If you know of a ground-breaking clinical trial published in 2020 (electronically or in print) by a current ACTA Member, we encourage you to nominate it for the ACTA 2021 Trial of the Year Award. Any current ACTA Member can nominate a trial for consideration. Members may nominate more than one trial for consideration and full details can be found below in the Guidelines.
The award categories are as follows:
- ACTA Trial of the Year Award
- ACTA STInG Excellence in Trial Statistics Award
- ACTA Consumer Involvement Award
All awards will be accompanied by a prize to to build capacity and capability within the sector through the attendance of a clinical trial conference, registry symposium or training program.
Nominations will close at midnight, Sunday 14 March 2021. No further nominations will be accepted after the deadline.
The winner will be notified in the first week of May and announced publicly at the National Tribute and Awards Ceremony.
