Professor Merlin Thomas was the CSO of RAGE Biotech Pty Ltd, a company he founded in 2000.

He is a clinician scientist and program leader in the Department of Diabetes at Monash University. Dr Thomas is renowned as a researcher, educator and medical storyteller with over 300 peer-reviewed publications, as well as author of best selling books, "The Longevity List" and "Fast Living Slow Ageing". He is also recognised as a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Health Medical Science.
