Tips for communicating online

Please remember it is very easy for your comments to be misconstrued or misinterpreted because others cannot read your face or body language:

Treat other participants and their views with due respect.
No racist, sexist, or otherwise inappropriate behaviour will be tolerated (just as it wouldn’t be in face to face interactions).
The “nanna” (grandmother/grandparent/respected person) rule is generally a good one; “would you say what you are saying to your nanna?” If you wouldn’t, then don’t say it online.
